☽ Good Movies ☽ War and Peace (1956) and TOP HAT (1935)

How about War and Peace (1956) of Audrey?
It is memorable that count's daughter Natasha was deceived by a bad guy.
Masterpieces are nice.

Do you know TOP HAT(1935) , American cinema?
Fred Astaire and his tap dance are wonderful!

The Makioka Sisters The 1983 Film

Fabulous Movie and made in Japan.

Directed by Kon Ichikawa
Starring Yoshiko Sakuma, Sayuri Yoshinaga, Yuko Kotegawa, Keiko Kishi

The story was set in Osaka, Japan before World War II and was about wealthy Makioka family.
Beautiful ladies and Kimono. Dazzling performance.
I was deeply impressed by this film.

I was fascinated by grace and dignity of Senba merchant and their wordsぴかぴか(新しい).
